AI Usage Disclosure

This is a general disclosure applicable to my Foundry VTT modules. Specific AI implementation varies by project.

Code & Logic

The scripts, macros, and underlying code may be written entirely by me, generated entirely by AI, or created through a joint effort. Regardless of the origin, as a formally trained IT Analyst with deep knowledge of Foundry VTT mechanics and coding best practices, I manually review, verify, and test all code to ensure performance and security.

Addressing Common Misconceptions

The "Zero Effort" Fallacy: There is a misconception that AI-generated output requires no effort. In reality, treating AI as a collaborative tool demands rigorous oversight. Debugging, refactoring, and maintaining AI-assisted code is a labor-intensive process that requires deep technical expertise to ensure proper integration.

Combating "Code Slop": While unverified, low-quality AI output ("slop") is a growing issue in the development community, my workflow is strictly guarded against it. Every line of code undergoes a careful, manual verification process. Furthermore, I do not rely on free, lower-tier public models; I invest in premium, high-tier developer AI tools to ensure the highest standard of logic and optimization.
